Coaching and mentoring

I have worked as a NHS professional for nearly 30 years. During this time I have helped many people develop their careers by offering mentoring and support. This led to developing a keen interest in how to enable people to help themselves resulting in qualifying as a coach in 2018 through the Institute of Leadership and Management. I have since coached many health professionals as part of their career and personal development.

Working in a therapeutic model

Not long into my coaching journey, I soon realised while working with a client that I felt ill-equipped to get to the root cause of what was stopping them move forward with life. This sparked my fascination with how the mind works and the unconscious.

What lies in the unconscious part of our brain is not only the functions of our automatic systems in the body, but also our beliefs, habits and stored memories starting from the moment we draw breath. It is easy to work here in the unconscious space with hypnotherapy, from a place where some of our issues are locked away for safe keeping.

Women

Understanding women's needs

I have accomplished many things in my life, including undertaking a Masters degree while working full-time with a teenage boy. I have had a very successful management career in the NHS.

As a lifelong sufferer of anxiety, I have a passion to help other people deal with managing their anxiety and live the fulfilled life they deserve.

As a female, I understand the changing needs of women and this is paramount to helping women progress to live a fulfilled, happy life. Despite the era we now live, women can lack the tools and confidence they need in life to get them where they want to be from both a professional and personal perspective.
